Fashion model Alessandra Ambrosio
When Alessandra Ambrosio was 12 years old, she enrolled in modeling classes and began modeling at age 15. She has since worked with international brands including Revlon, Christian Dior, Giorgio Armani, Rolex, Oscar de la Renta, Gucci, Escada, Rocco Barocco, Calvin Klein and Ralph Lauren, as well as the Pirelli Calendar. Ambrosio’s most successful contact was with Victoria's Secret, the retailer of women's wear, lingerie, beauty products and the brand known for its fashion shows, notably their Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, and for their catalogs, both of which showcase top fashion and glamour models.
She is figure-conscious and works out with her Brazilian trainer doing the Brazilian Butt Lift, which is a mix of samba, capoeira and aerobics.
On her first visit to New York, Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bündchen lent her apartment for two weeks and fellow Brazilian Adriana Lima helped her translate English. Her typical week starts jet setting from one country to another for modeling assignments, photo shoots and interviews. Fellow Brazilian model Ana Beatriz Barros is Ambrosio's best friend. Ambrosio and her fiancé, California businessman Jamie Mazur, had their first child, a daughter named Anja Louise Ambrosio Mazur on August 24, 2008,
