This photo shows the scene at a Dubai Bedouin camp where a belly dancer is performing. The Bedouin are a desert-dwelling nomadic Arab ethnic group, now mostly settled after the surge of petrodollars in the Middle East. They are found in the desert belt extending from the Atlantic coast of the Sahara to the Arabian Desert. Also some non-Arab groups such as the Beja of the African coast of the Red Sea are sometimes known as Bedouin. After the 1950's large numbers of Bedouin throughout the Middle East started ending nomadic life because of government policies, oil production in many countries including the Persian Gulf and improved standards of living made them become settled citizens of various nations rather than stateless nomadic herders. There a number of Bedouin tribes, but the total population is difficult to determine as many Bedouin have ceased to lead nomadic and joined the general population.

Whether she is one of the best actresses down under (southern Indian films), or just a crowd puller for obvious reasons best known to the BULK of her fans, the Punjabi lass has taken the southern Indian film industry by storm. Whether she has a new release or not, one can always find her new photos posted on photo-sharing sites, and it seems, she has the maximum number of her steamy video clips posted on YouTube, compared to most other South Indian actresses. Also, I was surprised to see the WARNINGS that comes up with some of her clips saying that I must be 18 or above to view them, else I may have unexpected aftershocks after viewing them!

Rani Mukherjee and Irrfan Khan were conferred with Critics' Choice Award for their performance in 'Dil Bole Hadippa' and 'Bilu', respectively. Neil Nitin Mukesh was accorded Popular Choice Award for Jail and New York, while Asin received the same for 'Gajni'. The Tollywood hit 'Challenge' has notched up four major awards during 'Anandalok Purashkar' ceremony, as it was adjudged the best film of 2009. Actor Dev was conferred with the Male and Best Action Hero Awards in recognition of his action-packed performance in the film, while the 'Best Director Trophy' was secured by Roy Chowdhury. Neel Akashe Chandni star Koel Mullick bagged the best actress award for her performance in the film. Bollywood hit-music director Pritam and his metro band captivated the hearts of audience at the Science City Auditorium during the award distribution ceremony.
